Welcome to the GLRSA Spring 2023 Season

We are getting ready for a DRY Spring Season of GLRSA. There have been some changes that we as a board are excited about. GLRSA has partnered with Sports Connect in attempts to have a better and all inclusive website. We are hopeful that you will enjoy the ease in navigation when registering as a player, coach and sponsor.

When you register your athlete you will see a couple of new things. The board has gone back to birth years in determining our U5-U12 teams. While this may change the look of some of the teams, it will help in our partnership with Boilers FC for those looking to play travel soccer once they hit the U9 age group.

With U14 & U18 age groups there was some confusion. For the Spring season, those kids in middle school (Grades 7&8) will be playing in the U14 division. Even “trapped” 8th graders will still be in U14. The U18 division will be for those kids in grades 9-12 that want to play in the Spring.

Also, we did have to increase the price for this season. It will be $75 for U5-U12 & $90 for U14-18. The price increase was due to the increasing costs that GLRSA has incurred with field maintenance, utilities, and equipment. There is also a hopeful completion of GLRSA acquiring more field space in West Lafayette in 2024 to allow us to hold more practices and youth games in alternate locations. Fields will always be an issue and having a safe space for kids to enjoy the game of soccer is our number one priority. As a board we still believe that our prices are favorable compared to other sports recreational programs.

The sponsorship link will be up and running this week, as we always rely on our sponsors to partner with GLRSA. For as low as $150 you can have your company logo on the front of a teams shirt.
